I haven’t done one of these in a while. I’ve been lazy with them. After writing doing one of these is honestly the last thing I feel like doing. Back when I started these in 2014 I was quite diligent with them. I’d fill them out even if I only wrote 100 words that night. Not sure what changed.

Anyway, I’ve made decent progress. I’ve edited/rewrote six chapters since the last writing log. In total I’ve finished revising 18/25 chapters.

Today was the first time in literally months (or maybe ever) where I actually pretty decent about what I was writing. As I’m getting closer to finishing the third draft (which is the draft that will be sent to beta readers) I’m starting to think more and more about what chapter I’d use as a sample chapter if an agent asked for one. I think one of the chapters I edited today would be that chapter. It perfectly encapsulates feelings I want to encapsulate in the story.

I’m hoping to have the a polished third draft ready for beta readers by March’s end.
